Mount a TYT TH-8600 dual band mobile radio in your Can-Am Defender dash, out of the way and in easy reach. This mount replaces the driver-side clip-in tilt drawer and holds the radio on its side with the faceplate facing you.
Fits the TYT TH-8600 only. The pocket, alignment and screw positions are built around this specific radio. Other radios will not fit. Have a different radio? See Custom Orders.
Install
- Pull the factory driver-side tilt drawer and move its rubber washers onto this mount
- Clip it into the factory drawer location. No tools, no drilling
- The clip is redesigned to hold tighter than stock, so the extra weight of the radio does not tip the mount out
- The radio slides in on its side and fastens with screws into its own side mounting holes, lined up to the radio's factory threads
- The faceplate and knobs sit about 1 cm proud of the mount

The TH-8600 is a 2 m / 70 cm amateur (ham) radio. An amateur radio licence is required to transmit. Radio not included.

Printed to order in PETG, a tough plastic with a little flex, so the clip snaps in and out of the dash cleanly without cracking. It lives inside the dash, out of the sun. Made in Oxford Mills, Ontario. Made to order; typically ships within 5 to 7 business days.
